TBC Coffee Camp

A training camp for those worth investing in.

Help us finance training camps for a group of young professionals interested in the coffee industry.

The TBC Coffee Camp program will be organized as an educational event. We are planning various locations. Each event is to be accessible - free of charge - to a group of six to twelve participants.

The program will include sessions on topics such as cultivation, sensory analysis, coffee roasting, and barista skills. Each edition will have a specific leading topic, which will be announced as soon as the recruitment process for program participants is completed.

The TBC Coffee Camp program is aimed at people under 30 years of age, everyone will be able to apply online, and we also plan to invite people on the verge of exclusion who, for objective reasons, would not be able to apply on their own.

The first edition of TBC Coffee Camp will take place in Colombia in October 2025. This specific event is planned for eight participants and will focus primarily on the sensory analysis of coffee during the fermentation, drying and selection process, as well as on additional topics, in particular regarding the implementation of The Better Coffee standard.

The planned budget will cover the participation of a group of participants, including the costs of teaching materials, food and accommodation, as well as, to a limited extent, travel costs for those in particular need. Due to the limited budget, it is unlikely that we will be able to recruit a potential TBC Coffee Camp participant who lives far from the event location. The budget also covers costs related to the organization of the camp, including fees for presenters.

We are looking for companies and NGOs that would like to finance part or all of the required budget. In return for their support, we offer a package that includes marketing benefits, dedicated barter training, and the opportunity to nominate up to two of their employees who meet the basic criteria for participation in the program.
