About the course
Fermentation of coffee is a course designed for individuals involved in the coffee-harvesting process in the coffee-producing countries, including roasters responsible for selecting beans, roasting, and quality control. It is also intended for those interested in how coffee processing affects its flavor.
Until recently, specialty coffee was understood to be only washed, washed, and short-fermented coffees. Today, however, this term encompasses a wide array of processing methods, often involving complex and multifaceted procedures that can leave even seasoned professionals perplexed.
If you are interested in understanding the nuances of coffee processing, this course is an ideal opportunity. During the course, you will have the opportunity to sample the same coffee processed in more than a dozen methods, in collaboration with a partner farm in Colombia.
This 3-day course will also provide you with the skills to produce each of the popular methods yourself, step by step, during your harvest.
