A System Rooted in Solidarity
Three tiers. One shared system. Equal access.
The Better Coffee doesn’t treat price as a barrier — it treats it as a tool. Thanks to our Multi-Tier Pricing Philosophy, people from different economic realities can participate together in courses, camps, collaborations, and more.

Supporter Tier
Make participation
possible for others.
If you’re in a position to give more, this is your way to redistribute access. Supporter pricing funds the Pay-It-Forward Access Fund — helping someone else join, whether it’s a course, a Coffee Camp, or a toolkit.

Sustainable Tier
The base price that reflects
real value
This tier isn’t a discount or a donation — it’s the actual cost of organizing, creating, and delivering what we offer. It reflects the value of good work: fairly done, fairly paid, and fairly shared — for everyone involved.

Solidarity Tier
Learn and participate
without shame
This tier exists for people with fewer resources — due to geography, life stage, or situation. It’s not charity, but a deliberate step toward change — built so no one is excluded from learning, contributing, or leading.
Why It Matters for Everyone
Pay-It-Forward is more than a pricing model — it’s a way to build a different kind of system.
A system that works across inequality, geography, language, access, and opportunity.
For some, it means being able to join a course, a camp, or a collaboration they otherwise couldn’t access.
For others, it’s a way to turn privilege, position, or profit into something shared — and worth more than money.
This system only works when everyone plays their part with intention.
Whether you need support or want to give it, your presence is what makes this real.
There’s no charity here. No guilt, no status.
Just people — with different realities — learning side by side.
Coffee changes to be better. The system grows stronger, more honest.
That’s the goal.

Let’s Break Down Barriers
This form is for anyone applying for the Solidarity Tier.
We won’t list who might be in need — because in truth,
anyone working with coffee under the current paradigm might be.
We don’t require proof of poverty or official documents — we trust people.
But we do ask you to explain why you’re applying.
Share your story, context, or motivation.
Let us know what you’d like to access — a course, an event, or a digital document like the Standard.
And tell us: why now?
We read every application carefully.
If something is unclear, we might follow up by email.
You can receive up to 100% coverage of participation costs.
But we usually ask for a small contribution —
like covering local travel, paying part of the price, or volunteering to support our work in return.
Please note: Pay-It-Forward support is available only to people aged 18 and over. If you are under 18, we require written consent from a parent or legal guardian before confirming your participation.

Support Someone’s Access Today
The Supporter Tier isn’t about paying extra — it’s about making room.
When you choose it, you help fund access for someone who couldn’t otherwise join.
It’s one of the simplest ways to change the system from within.
You can support Pay-It-Forward by:
– Choosing the Supporter Tier when signing up for a course or event
– Donating directly to the Pay-It-Forward Fund
– Spreading the word to people who believe in access and dignity
But that’s just one part of the work.

Know this: the money circulating in today’s system can do more than sit in markets.
It can finance justice, education, and dignity — one step at a time.
