3.1 Minimum Age Requirements

You must be at least 18 years old, or the legal age of majority in your country of residence, to register for, purchase, or participate in any paid offerings, including courses, products, and events on the Red Ink Coffee Platform.

If you are under 18 but at least 13, you may only access free educational materials, public blog articles, or non-commercial content, and only with verifiable consent of your parent or legal guardian, where permitted by applicable law. Red Ink Coffee does not knowingly market, target, or collect personal data from children under 13, in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) in the United States, as well as equivalent laws internationally.

If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal data through the Platform, please notify us immediately at the contact details provided in Section 20, so we can remove it promptly.

3.2 Capacity to Contract

By using this Platform, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements under the laws of your country or region. If you are accessing or using the Platform on behalf of a company, cooperative, nonprofit, educational institution, or other legal entity, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms and that your use of the Platform complies with its internal policies.

You agree to assume full responsibility for all activity conducted through your account or by persons you authorize to use the Platform on your behalf.

3.3 Geographic Restrictions and Geo-Blocking

Red Ink Coffee is committed to worldwide accessibility; however, certain features, products, services, or digital materials may be restricted, unavailable, or blocked in some regions due to:

  • International sanctions or embargoes

  • Export control laws

  • Local consumer protection, food safety, or educational licensing laws

  • Commercial or contractual obligations with partners

We reserve the right to limit or block access from regions or jurisdictions subject to trade restrictions, including those listed by the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), European Union sanctions, United Nations sanctions, or other applicable trade controls. For reference, an up-to-date list of OFAC-sanctioned countries is available at the official U.S. Treasury OFAC sanctions programs page.

In addition, we may geo-block certain features to comply with regional laws, such as the EU Digital Services Act, the UK Online Safety Act, or other local digital regulations.

3.4 Eligibility for Tiered Pricing and Solidarity Support

Red Ink Coffee supports equitable access through its tiered pricing model, including the Solidarity Tier and the Pay-It-Forward Fund. Participation in subsidized or discounted tiers may require:

  • Self-declaration of financial hardship

  • Community or partner reference

  • Limited documentary evidence (such as proof of student status, refugee status, or low-income eligibility)

We treat all such documentation with respect, confidentiality, and non-judgment, and will not disclose eligibility information beyond what is needed to administer the program.

Red Ink Coffee reserves the right to review, approve, or deny requests for Solidarity or Pay-It-Forward support at its reasonable discretion, in order to protect the mission and ensure fair distribution of resources.

3.5 Verification
To protect the integrity of the Platform and the safety of its Users, Red Ink Coffee may verify your identity, address, age, or eligibility for particular services or pricing. This verification may include:

  • Secure document uploads

  • Third-party ID verification tools

  • Payment method verification

  • Location confirmation through IP or geolocation

You agree to cooperate with reasonable verification requests. Failure to provide requested information, providing false information, or attempting to circumvent verification processes may result in denial of access, suspension, or permanent account termination.

In line with GDPR and other applicable data protection laws, documents or data collected for verification purposes will be retained only as long as reasonably necessary to complete the verification and fulfill legal obligations, after which they will be securely deleted or anonymized.

4. Account Registration & Security

4.1 Creating and Maintaining Accounts

To access certain features of the Red Ink Coffee Platform — including booking events, participating in courses, accessing e-learning, purchasing products, or interacting with The Better Coffee network — you must create an account.

During registration, you agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information. This includes your name, email address, country of residence, and any other details reasonably required by Red Ink Coffee. You further agree to update this information promptly if it changes to ensure your profile remains accurate.

If you register on behalf of an organization (for example, a cooperative, school, or community hub), you confirm that you are authorized to act for and bind that organization under these Terms.

You acknowledge that all activities undertaken through your account are your responsibility, even if performed by other persons using your credentials.

Red Ink Coffee may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts that contain false or misleading information, or that violate these Terms or applicable laws.

4.2 Account Verification

In certain cases, we may require you to verify your account before you can fully access the Platform. Verification procedures may include:

  • Email confirmation

  • Phone number confirmation (for example, via SMS code)

  • Age or residency verification

  • Uploading government-issued identification

  • Proof of address

  • Business or institutional verification documents (such as registration certificates) if you register as an organization.

Verification helps maintain trust, security, and legal compliance (for example, age verification under COPPA, or sanctions screening under trade laws). You agree to cooperate promptly and truthfully with any such verification request.

If you fail to verify your account as requested, or if Red Ink Coffee has reasonable grounds to suspect fraud or identity misrepresentation, your account may be suspended or closed without prior notice.

4.3 Account Security Obligations

You are fully responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account login credentials, including your password. You agree to:

  • Choose a strong, secure password

  • Change your password periodically

  • Log out of your account on shared devices

  • Never share your credentials with unauthorized third parties

  • Notify Red Ink Coffee immediately of any actual or suspected unauthorized use of your account

While Red Ink Coffee cannot guarantee the Platform will be completely immune to cyberattacks or breaches… However, we implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to safeguard your information. You agree that Red Ink Coffee shall not be held liable for losses or damages resulting from your own failure to follow security best practices, unless required by mandatory local law.

4.4 Shared or Institutional Accounts

If you are registering an account on behalf of an organization, you may authorize a limited number of designated individuals to access the account under your responsibility. You agree to:

  • Keep track of all authorized users

  • Train them on their security obligations

  • Immediately remove or update authorized user access if roles change

You are fully responsible for all actions taken under your institutional or business account. Red Ink Coffee reserves the right to audit organizational accounts for misuse or compliance with licensing terms.

4.5 Account Suspension or Termination

Red Ink Coffee reserves the right, at its reasonable discretion, to suspend, restrict, or terminate your account if you:

  • Violate these Terms or any supplemental policies

  • Provide false, fraudulent, or incomplete registration or verification information

  • Engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal conduct

  • Violate community standards as defined in Section 12

  • Breach intellectual property rights

  • Interfere with the security, stability, or integrity of the Platform

  • Fail to comply with applicable data protection, export, or trade laws

If your account is suspended or terminated, you may lose access to purchased products, event tickets, or stored content. No compensation shall be due for such losses except as required by local consumer protection laws. In the event of account suspension or termination, any refund eligibility will be assessed in accordance with Section 5 (Purchases, Subscriptions & Payments), and subject to local consumer protection laws. In severe cases, Red Ink Coffee reserves the right to block your re-registration attempts to protect its community and mission.

4.6 Appeals and Reinstatement

If your account is suspended, restricted, or terminated, you have the right to request an explanation and to appeal the decision. Appeals must be submitted in writing to the contact information provided in Section 20 and include:

  • Your full name and account email

  • The reason you believe the suspension or termination was incorrect

  • Any supporting documentation or explanation you wish to include

Red Ink Coffee will review all appeals in good faith and respond within a reasonable timeframe, typically within 30 days. We reserve the right to maintain the suspension or termination if justified by these Terms or relevant law.

4.7 Notices Related to Accounts

Red Ink Coffee may send important notices about your account, including security alerts, verification reminders, suspension notices, or appeals outcomes, to the email address on file. It is your responsibility to keep your contact details current and to monitor your email for these notices.

5. Purchases, Subscriptions & Payments

5.1 Pricing, Currency, and Taxes

All pricing for products, courses, subscriptions, events, or other offerings on the Red Ink Coffee Platform will be displayed in the applicable currency, based on your location or billing address. Prices are inclusive or exclusive of taxes as specified on each checkout page, depending on your country of residence.

Red Ink Coffee reserves the right to change pricing at any time, but will honor prices confirmed at the time of your completed order.

Where required, prices will include VAT or sales tax, and you will see those taxes clearly itemized at checkout.

5.2 EU OSS and VAT

For customers in the European Union, Red Ink Coffee participates in the One Stop Shop (OSS) VAT program. OSS enables us to collect, report, and remit VAT on cross-border digital services and e-commerce sales to EU residents. Your VAT rate is calculated based on your EU country of residence at the time of purchase.

If you provide a valid EU VAT number as a business customer, you may qualify for a reverse-charge mechanism under OSS. In such cases, you must enter your correct VAT number during checkout.

5.3 Accepted Payment Methods

Red Ink Coffee accepts major international payment methods, including but not limited to:

  • Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and other credit cards

  • Debit cards

  • Secure digital wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.)

  • Stripe as the primary payment processor

  • Other providers as listed on the checkout page

We do not store your complete credit or debit card numbers directly on our servers. Payment details are securely processed by Stripe and other PCI DSS–compliant third-party processors.

5.4 Invoicing and Receipts

After a successful transaction, you will receive an email confirmation with a receipt or invoice showing:

  • The amount charged

  • Currency used

  • Product or service purchased

  • Applicable taxes

  • Our business details for your records

If you require a more formal invoice for accounting or VAT purposes, you may request it by contacting us through the details in Section 20.

5.5 Refunds, Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Chargebacks
Refunds may be available depending on the product, service, or event purchased, and the specific circumstances. For example:

  • Course fees and event tickets may be refundable within a statutory cooling-off period, subject to local consumer law (for example, the EU 14-day withdrawal right).

  • Digital downloads and e-learning products are generally non-refundable once accessed or downloaded, unless they are defective or otherwise required to be refunded by mandatory law. For clarity, once you have accessed or started any digital download or e-learning product, you will not be entitled to a refund except where mandatory consumer law requires it.

  • Subscriptions may be cancelled in line with the rules for recurring payments described below.

  • You may request to reschedule your booking for an event or course if there is space available, subject to reasonable notice and Red Ink Coffee’s discretion.

  • Where events involve high-risk activities (such as travel, sports, or physically demanding programs), participants may be required to sign a waiver or obtain appropriate insurance coverage, which will be clearly described during the booking process.

Chargebacks should only be initiated with your payment provider if you have a legitimate reason, such as confirmed fraud. Filing a false or unjustified chargeback may result in suspension of your account.

Please review our detailed cancellation and refund policy published on the Platform for product-specific details. Local mandatory consumer refund rights will always take precedence over these platform rules wherever they apply, even if not fully repeated here.

5.6 Subscription Renewals and Cancellation

Some Red Ink Coffee services, including certain courses or memberships, may operate on a subscription basis. In those cases:

  • The billing frequency (monthly, yearly, etc.) will be clearly displayed during checkout.

  • You authorize Red Ink Coffee to charge your chosen payment method automatically at each renewal date, until you cancel.

  • You may cancel subscriptions at any time by following the cancellation instructions in your account settings.

Cancellation will prevent future charges but does not generally result in a refund for past billing periods, unless required by local law, unless required by local law or specified in the product description.

5.7 Payment Failures

If a payment attempt fails or your payment method is declined, Red Ink Coffee may:

  • Retry the payment automatically

  • Notify you by email to update your payment method

  • Suspend or limit your access to the purchased products or services until payment is resolved

You remain responsible for all unpaid amounts and any applicable collection costs, where permitted by law.

5.8 Currency Conversion

If you choose to pay in a currency other than your home currency, your bank or payment provider may charge conversion fees or apply an exchange rate beyond our control. Red Ink Coffee is not responsible for those third-party currency conversion charges.

5.9 Fraud Prevention

To protect the Platform, its participants, and its mission, Red Ink Coffee reserves the right to review, delay, or decline any transaction if we reasonably suspect fraud, unauthorized use, or violation of these Terms. We may request additional verification before accepting your payment.

Your cooperation with such requests is mandatory to finalize your order.

5.10 Notices Regarding Pricing

Prices, promotions, discounts, and bundled offers may change without notice except where required by law. If you have an ongoing subscription, we will provide you with reasonable advance notice of any material price increase — typically at least 30 days in advance — by email or through your account dashboard, giving you the opportunity to cancel before the new pricing takes effect

6. Events & Bookings

6.1 Booking Procedures

Red Ink Coffee offers events, workshops, courses, and in-person or online gatherings through its Platform. To participate in these events, you must complete the booking process, which may include:

  • Selecting your event and preferred date

  • Choosing a pricing tier (e.g., Sustainable, Supporter, Solidarity)

  • Providing accurate participant details

  • Agreeing to any event-specific policies displayed at checkout

  • Completing payment, if applicable

Bookings are considered confirmed once you receive a booking confirmation email from Red Ink Coffee.

6.2 Tiered Pricing and the Pay-It-Forward Fund

Red Ink Coffee supports equitable access through a tiered pricing model:

  • Sustainable Tier: standard price, covering the true cost of participation

  • Supporter Tier: higher price, which helps fund Pay-It-Forward opportunities for others

  • Solidarity Tier: subsidized price or free participation for individuals with limited financial means

Eligibility for Solidarity pricing may be subject to an application process, including self-attestation of need or, in rare cases, further verification.

Funds collected through the Supporter Tier go directly into the Pay-It-Forward Fund, which is then used to provide Solidarity access or scholarships.

Red Ink Coffee reserves the right to adjust tiered pricing and availability for future events, but will honor bookings already confirmed.

6.3 Attendance Rules

By booking an event, you agree to follow:

  • Any site-specific safety regulations (for example, fire codes, accessibility routes, COVID-19 rules, or other public health measures)

  • The Red Ink Coffee Community Standards in Section 12

  • Reasonable instructions from event facilitators, trainers, or organizers

  • Any house rules of third-party venues where events are hosted

Failure to follow these rules may result in removal from the event without refund.

6.4 Cancellation, Rescheduling, and Refunds

If you need to cancel your booking, the following rules apply:

  • You may cancel within a defined cooling-off period (typically 14 days in the EU) and receive a full refund, unless you have already attended the event or accessed course materials.

  • After the cooling-off period, refunds are granted at Red Ink Coffee’s reasonable discretion, based on costs already incurred and event capacity, unless mandatory law states otherwise

  • You may request to reschedule your booking, if availability permits, by contacting us at the address in Section 20. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your rescheduling request, but cannot guarantee availability.

  • If Red Ink Coffee cancels or reschedules an event, we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible and offer either:

    • a refund of amounts paid, or

    • a transfer of your booking to another date or similar event.

  • We will not be responsible for any travel, accommodation, or other indirect costs you may have incurred due to cancellation or rescheduling, except as required by mandatory consumer law.

  • For events involving high-risk activities (such as travel, sports, or physically demanding programs), you may be required to sign a waiver or obtain suitable insurance coverage, which will be clearly described during the booking process.

6.5 Force Majeure Events

If an event cannot proceed due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (such as natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics, wars, or other emergencies), Red Ink Coffee may:

  • Reschedule the event

  • Offer an alternative event or format (for example, moving from in-person to online)

  • RRefund you, minus reasonable, documented expenses already incurred

We will communicate such changes promptly and fairly, keeping participant well-being as our highest priority.

6.6 Transfers of Bookings

Unless otherwise specified, event bookings are personal to you and may not be transferred or resold to another person without Red Ink Coffee’s prior written approval. If you wish to transfer a booking to someone else, you must contact us and comply with any applicable verification requirements.

Unauthorized transfers or resale of bookings may result in cancellation without refund and permanent suspension of your account.

6.7 Event-Specific Policies

Certain events may have additional rules or requirements, for example:

  • Required safety equipment

  • Consent for photo or video recording

  • Participation waivers

  • Insurance coverage (in the case of high-risk travel or sports activities)

Such event-specific policies will be displayed clearly during the booking process and form part of these Terms. You agree to review them before confirming your booking.

6.8 Participant Behavior

All participants are expected to conduct themselves respectfully and in alignment with Red Ink Coffee’s Community Standards (Section 12). You agree not to:

  • Disrupt the event

  • Harass, harm, or endanger other participants, trainers, or staff

  • Violate safety protocols

  • Engage in discriminatory, abusive, or illegal behavior

Failure to comply with these expectations may result in removal from the event and/or suspension of your account, with no refund.

6.9 Confirmation and Notices

Red Ink Coffee will send booking confirmations, event updates, and any relevant instructions to the email you provide. It is your responsibility to monitor your inbox and ensure you have the latest event information.

If you do not receive a confirmation within a reasonable time, you should contact Red Ink Coffee promptly to verify your booking status.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Copyright Ownership

All intellectual property appearing on the Red Ink Coffee Platform — including but not limited to text, images, videos, course materials, logos, branding, illustrations, audio, design elements, layout, documentation, downloadable resources, and all related content — is the property of Red Ink Coffee, The Place Katowice, or its licensed partners, unless otherwise expressly stated.

These works are protected by international copyright conventions, domestic copyright laws in multiple jurisdictions, and applicable treaties. Unauthorized copying, redistribution, or commercial use is strictly prohibited without prior written permission.

7.2 Licensing of The Better Coffee Materials

The Better Coffee Standard, Curriculum, Trainer Pathway, and any related guides, frameworks, or visual identity elements are licensed to qualified Trainers, The Places, and authorized participants under a non-exclusive, revocable license. This license is subject to:

  • Adherence to The Better Coffee values and community standards

  • Compliance with these Terms

  • Payment of applicable licensing fees where relevant

  • Observance of territorial or sectoral licensing restrictions described in licensing documents

Licenses do not grant you ownership of any part of The Better Coffee system, but allow you to use it in good faith and for approved educational, professional, or cooperative purposes.

7.3 Use of Logos, Trademarks, and Branding

All Red Ink Coffee and The Better Coffee names, logos, trademarks, design marks, and brand elements are legally protected. You agree not to:

  • Modify, imitate, or counterfeit these marks

  • Use them in a way that suggests an official partnership or endorsement without permission

  • Include them in your own advertising, promotional materials, or events without explicit written approval

Authorized licensees of The Better Coffee may display an official licensed Trainer or licensed The Place logo, following branding guidelines provided by Red Ink Coffee.

7.4 Envato and Similar Licensed Assets
Some design elements, photographs, videos, icons, and fonts used on the Platform may have been purchased or licensed through Envato or similar third-party marketplaces. These elements are licensed to Red Ink Coffee under their respective license agreements, which do not grant you any rights to reuse, copy, resell, or modify them outside the Platform or your personal, non-commercial enjoyment of the Platform’s offerings to the extent permitted by law.

If you wish to reuse any such licensed content beyond the Platform, you must purchase a separate license directly from the asset provider.

7.5 Prohibition on Unauthorized Resale

You may not resell, sublicense, reproduce, or redistribute any part of the Platform’s materials, courses, e-learning resources, or publications in any form, physical or digital, without explicit prior written consent.

This prohibition includes but is not limited to:

  • Sharing login credentials to allow unauthorized users to access paid courses

  • Downloading and distributing videos or course files

  • Selling the Red Ink Coffee Curriculum or The Better Coffee Standard in whole or in part

7.6 DMCA and Takedown Requests

If you believe that material on the Platform infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), or equivalent frameworks in other jurisdictions. Please include:

  • A detailed description of the alleged infringement

  • Proof that you own the copyrighted work or are authorized to act on behalf of the owner

  • Your contact information

  • A sworn statement of good faith and accuracy

Submit takedown notices to the contact details provided in Section 20. We will review such claims in good faith and respond in accordance with applicable law.

7.7 User-Generated Content Ownership

When you contribute User-Generated Content (such as blog posts, comments, testimonials, or event photos), you retain ownership of your content. However, you grant Red Ink Coffee a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to:

  • Use, reproduce, adapt, distribute, and publicly display that content on the Platform

  • Showcase it for promotional, educational, or documentation purposes

  • Translate it or modify it for clarity, formatting, or accessibility

You may revoke this license by deleting your content (where feasible) or submitting a written removal request to Section 20’s contact address, unless it is incorporated into an irreversible publication or collaborative material.

7.8 Intellectual Property Enforcement

Red Ink Coffee reserves all rights not expressly granted in these Terms. We will take appropriate action, including legal remedies, against anyone who violates or attempts to violate our intellectual property protections. This may include account suspension, legal action, or reporting to relevant authorities.

8. Content & User Submissions

8.1 User-Generated Content Overview

The Red Ink Coffee Platform may offer opportunities for you to contribute content, including but not limited to:

Collectively, these are called “User-Generated Content.”

8.2 Your Responsibilities

12. Disclaimers & Limitations of Liability

12.1 General Disclaimers

Red Ink Coffee provides its Platform, events, products, courses, and all related materials on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without any warranties or guarantees of any kind, whether express or implied, except as otherwise required by applicable consumer law.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Platform will always be available, secure, uninterrupted, or error-free

  • Information, materials, or content provided will be accurate, reliable, or up-to-date at all times

  • Events, courses, or other experiences will meet your personal expectations or goals

Any reliance you place on the information made available through the Platform is strictly at your own risk.

12.2 Educational and Informational Use

All educational and informational content provided by Red Ink Coffee, including The Better Coffee Curriculum, Trainer Pathway, or The Coffee Table e-learning, is for general knowledge-sharing purposes only. 12.3 Third-Party Content and Links

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, resources, or services. Red Ink Coffee is not responsible for:

  • The content, accuracy, or legality of third-party resources

  • Any damages or losses caused by your use of third-party platforms

  • Availability of linked resources

Third-party links do not imply endorsement unless we explicitly say so. You access them at your own discretion and under their terms.

  • Personal injury or property damage related to participation in events or courses

  • Unforeseeable damages that could not reasonably have been prevented even with due care

This applies whether the claim is based in contract, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise.

Where local law does not allow such limitations, we will comply with mandatory protections. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

12.5 Consumer Rights

These disclaimers do not override any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you under the law in your country of residence. For example, if local law guarantees a right to withdraw from digital purchases within a cooling-off period, or to receive non-defective goods, those rights still apply.

12.6 Force Majeure

12.9 Severability

If a court or authority decides that any part of these Terms is invalid or unenforceable, the rest of the Terms will continue to apply, and the invalid portion shall be interpreted in a way most closely reflecting its original intent.

For all other Users, you agree that any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Poland, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence. In the event of a conflict between the laws of Poland and local consumer protection laws, the mandatory local consumer protection laws will prevail, but only to the extent they cannot be waived under applicable law.

If any portion of these Terms conflicts with another document published on the Platform, the Terms shall prevail unless explicitly stated otherwise. Headings and section numbers are for convenience only and do not affect the legal interpretation of any clause.

If the meaning of a clause is ambiguous, it should be interpreted in good faith and in favor of achieving The Better Coffee’s stated mission of fairness, transparency, and community protection.

17.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms to another person without Red Ink Coffee’s prior written consent.

21. Artificial Intelligence & Automated Systems

21.1 Scope of AI Use

Red Ink Coffee uses artificial intelligence (AI) and automated systems to help deliver, secure, and improve its services. These systems may include:

  • Personalized recommendations for courses, events, and blog posts

  • Automated moderation of user-generated content, including reviews, comments, and forum discussions

  • Automated processing of routine requests, such as password resets or booking confirmations

  • Pattern recognition to identify fraudulent transactions or malicious activities

  • Analytics to understand how participants interact with the Platform and to enhance user experience

AI tools do not replace human oversight in critical decisions that affect legal or financial status, and are used to assist, not dominate, the educational and community processes of The Better Coffee.

21.2 Transparency of Algorithms

We believe algorithms should serve people, not exploit them. Therefore, Red Ink Coffee commits to transparent practices regarding significant automated decision-making. Whenever an algorithm materially influences:

  • Access to a service

  • Pricing decisions

  • Content moderation

  • Eligibility for offers or discounts

we will describe the criteria, logic, and scope in a clear, public-facing resource or in response to a legitimate user request.

We aim to balance innovation with fairness, avoiding hidden or discriminatory algorithmic biases.

21.3 Data Used to Train AI

Our internal AI systems may be trained on aggregated, anonymized data derived from Platform activity, including:

  • Course completion rates

  • Popular content

  • Behavioral patterns in bookings or purchases

We do not use personally identifiable data to train external or third-party AI models without explicit, freely given consent.

Where legally required, you will have the right to object to your data being included, even in anonymized datasets, for AI training purposes.

21.4 Human Oversight and Appeals

We provide human supervision of AI processes, especially for moderation, fraud checks, and participation status.

If an automated action affects your rights — for example, blocking your comment or suspending your account — you have the right to request human review and explanation.

We will handle such appeals fairly, proportionately, and in a timely manner, generally within 14 days.

21.5 User Rights to Opt Out

Where legally permitted, you may opt out of certain automated processes by contacting Red Ink Coffee support.

For example, you may choose to disable algorithmic recommendations on your profile. However, systems essential for platform security, fraud prevention, or compliance cannot be turned off.

We will make opt-out mechanisms simple, free of charge, and as transparent as technically possible.

21.6 Continuous Improvement

Red Ink Coffee commits to periodic audits of its AI and automated systems to:

We welcome suggestions from Users and the broader community about how our algorithms can serve people better.

Red Ink Coffee is not liable for service interruptions, errors, or damages caused by payment processors, but will support you in resolving these issues whenever possible.

Because payment processing may involve servers located in multiple jurisdictions, your payment-related data may be transferred across borders. These transfers follow strict security measures, and your rights under data privacy laws (such as GDPR standard contractual clauses) are respected.

We ensure all financial partners adhere to robust international data transfer safeguards.
