This license is for Places that teach about coffee: schools, labs, cafés with training programs, digital educators, and facilitators working with people who want to understand coffee more deeply — and act with intention.
 
The Education License supports meaningful, human-centered teaching. It gives you full access to The Better Coffee Curriculum and connects you with others building alternative learning models. It’s about tools, yes — but also trust, ethics, and the courage to teach with care.
 
By choosing the Supporter Tier, you also fund others.
Your contribution to the Pay-It-Forward Fund helps educators in under-resourced contexts join the network and receive full materials and support — often at no cost.
 
With the Supporter Tier, you receive:
Full access to The Better Coffee Standard and Education license documentation
Access to all Better Coffee Curriculum materials for in-person or digital teaching
The right to operate as The Place [Your Name] or [Your Location]
Branding, identity, and language tools to guide ethical communication
Participation in curriculum-wide campaigns, public learning events, and collective offers
Access to The Places internal network — where educators exchange tools, ideas, and support
Administrative help — onboarding, legal structure, communication templates, and course support
Templates for pricing, enrollment, multi-tier access, and trainer collaboration
Trust-based license check-in after 3 years — focused on support, not control (available earlier if needed/requested)
Support to host sessions, invite visiting teachers, and co-create learning across borders
Shared resources and labor — from translation to curriculum co-development
Equal voice in the network — no HQ, no hierarchy. Every Place teaches differently while upholding the shared Standard
Recognition as a Supporter-tier contributor, unless you choose to remain anonymous
