This license is for Places that roast, serve, or sell coffee in any form — roasteries, cafés, bars, mobile setups, beverage producers, or anyone working at the intersection of flavor, service, and meaning.
The Roast License helps you apply The Better Coffee Standard wherever roasted coffee is shared — building transparency between origin and customer. It supports traceable sourcing, ethical storytelling, and better trade practices in service environments.
By choosing the Supporter Tier, you do more than participate — you invest in access for others. Your contribution to the Pay-It-Forward Fund helps other coffee professionals and educators from underrepresented or underfunded regions become licensed Places.
With the Supporter Tier, you receive:

Participation in transparent sourcing partnerships, educational collaborations, and public campaigns

Equal voice in the network — no HQ, no central power. Each Place acts independently but honors the shared Standard
Acknowledgment as a Supporter-tier contributor, with the option to remain anonymous
